Biography
Focused on the needs of a diverse population of podiatric patients, Deo Rampertab, DPM, has provided surgical treatments to address issues of the lower leg, ankle, and foot. An alumnus of Stony Brook University with a BS in biochemistry, he received his DPM from the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University. Dr. Deo Rampertab served as a podiatric resident at the Carl T. Hayden VA Medical Center in Phoenix and was named the chief resident of podiatric surgery in 1993.
From 1998 to 2015, Dr. Rampertab served as the managing podiatric surgeon with Arizona Family Podiatry, PC, where he led a team of administrative staff members and practitioners. Responsibilities included establishing budgets and ensuring that health insurance plan contracts were properly managed. In addition to fracture and trauma repair, he undertook complex midfoot and rearfoot reconstructions and fusions, as well as ankle stabilizations, at the Level-I trauma center.
As a lecturer, Dr. Deo Rampertab has presented frequently at the California Podiatric Medical Association’s Western Foot and Ankle Conference. Considerations and complications associated with neuroma excision are among the topics he has addressed.
